A clearer growing space.
These documents describe the current beta app. They are not finalized public-launch policies or a guarantee of legal protection. The operator’s legal name, privacy/support contact, hosting-provider data practices, and applicable legal requirements must be confirmed before public launch. These drafts do not establish a completed terms-acceptance process.
Privacy Policy
1. Scope and operator
This draft covers the Corm Math beta web app. The legal operator and dedicated contact details have not yet been configured. This is separate from the policies of the platform hosting the app.
2. What you enter and where it goes
Demo records and unsigned personal entries remain in browser storage. Signed-in plant records, purchase prices, transactions, notes and photos are stored in the hosted database and file storage under your app-specific user identity so they can sync across devices. Access to those records and private photos requires the matching signed-in identity.
Community posts, comments, reactions, attached photos and saved author profile information are shared publicly. Reports are private to moderators. Saving a profile publishes your chosen display name, username and profile image with your contributions; do not include sensitive information. Browser-saved comments are not automatically published: importing them requires your confirmation. Photos are resized in the browser before upload.
Signing in is handled by ChatGPT through the hosting platform. Corm Math receives an app-specific identity and limited account information, not your password. The operator’s verified account email identifies the moderator server-side. User emails are not returned in public feed responses.
Browser storage and exported files are not secure vaults. Do not include payment-card details, buyer addresses, government identifiers or other sensitive information in records, notes or photos.
3. Hosting, access and technical information
The hosting and access platform may process account/sign-in information, IP addresses, browser information, request logs and security data under its own policies. The app’s local-only storage does not mean visiting the hosted page generates no technical data. Provider-specific processing, retention and international transfer details must be reviewed before this policy is finalized.
4. Analytics, advertising and payments
The current app code does not include third-party advertising trackers, marketing analytics, payment collection, email campaigns or push notifications. Financial charts calculate from records in your browser. The prototype does not sell your local records or send them to advertising services. Provider-level practices are separate and require confirmation.
5. Your controls and retention
You can edit your records and profile in the app. Settings can export or restore your workspace and clear its financial records. Workspace exports include plant records, transactions and their photos, but not your account profile or the shared Community feed. Older local backups may contain earlier browser-only Community content. Keep backups private.
Clearing browser storage removes browser-only records and appearance settings, but does not delete cloud records. Clearing an account workspace does not delete your shared posts or profile. You can edit or delete your own shared posts and comments with their controls. Deleted shared content is hidden from the feed; records may remain for moderation, backups or operational purposes. Uploaded photos can remain in file storage after a record is removed. A complete retention schedule, full account-erasure process and operator contact must be finalized before a wider launch.
When a cloud save fails, a recovery copy may be kept in your browser under your account identifier. Settings offers a recovery download. Clearing site storage removes this local copy. Deleting a record does not remove exported copies, browser/device backups, copies other visitors made or provider logs.
6. Community and children
Community is now shared and readable by visitors. Signing in enables posting and reactions. Financial records remain private to their owner. This beta is intended for adults and is not designed for children under 13. Do not provide children’s personal information.
7. Requests and changes
Privacy rights depend on your location and the processing involved. For locally stored records, use the controls above. A dedicated operator contact and request-handling process must be established before public launch. Material changes to collection or sharing should be reflected here before the new feature is enabled.
Terms of Service
1. Beta app
Corm Math is an experimental recordkeeping and plant-discussion tool. Features may change or be unavailable. The legal operator, eligibility rules, effective date and appropriate acceptance process must be finalized before offering the app publicly. These draft terms are presented for review, not as a completed agreement.
2. Records, calculations and outcomes
Figures depend on the information entered. Payback and net figures include recorded purchase costs, expenses and sales only; they may omit taxes, labor, overhead, refunds or other costs. Verify results independently and maintain your own backups. Demo prices, sales and profits are fictional examples, not market valuations, earnings claims or promises of future income.
Corm Math does not provide professional tax, accounting, investment or legal advice. It does not guarantee that a plant will pay for itself, that a propagation method will succeed, or that an entry is complete or accurate.
3. Plant information and experiments
Discussion posts are general experiences and questions, not verified instructions or endorsements. Conditions and plant responses vary. Verify techniques independently and use suitable precautions with blades, chemicals and equipment. Starter images labeled as AI-generated are illustrations, not evidence of a successful method or a user’s actual results.
4. Your content and permitted use
Only add photos and content you own or have permission to use. You retain your rights in your content. Choosing to publish Community content authorizes storage and display of that content and its attached photos for Community features, moderation and backups. This does not transfer ownership or authorize unrelated advertising use. A formal license and final terms-acceptance process remain for legal review.
Do not use the app for fraud, harassment, impersonation, infringement, unlawful trade, malicious code, unauthorized access or disruption. Follow the Community Guidelines. Do not upload another person’s private information without authorization.
5. Availability and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the prototype is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a promise of uninterrupted operation, complete accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or preservation of browser-stored data. Back up important records and assess decisions independently.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator would seek to exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost data arising from use of the prototype. This provision does not exclude rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. The final scope and enforceability of any limitation must be reviewed by counsel.
6. Charges, disputes and changes
The current prototype has no paid subscription, in-app checkout or marketplace transaction service. If paid services are introduced, pricing, cancellation and refund terms must be provided before purchase. Governing law, dispute resolution, operator details and any further liability provisions remain for legal review; no arbitration or class-action waiver is imposed by this draft.
Community Guidelines
Share what happened
Describe your actual setup, species, timeline and results. Distinguish personal experiments from established guidance. Do not invent sales, results, endorsements or reviews. Label AI-generated or materially altered images.
Be helpful and respectful
Disagree with methods without attacking people. No harassment, threats, hateful content, impersonation, spam, scams or malicious links. Do not publish private addresses, messages or identifying details without permission.
Respect creators and disclose connections
Use your own photos or get permission. Give appropriate credit. Clearly disclose when you sell, make, receive free samples of, or are paid to recommend a product you mention.
Stay within the app’s purpose
Keep discussions relevant to growing plants, propagation and recordkeeping. Do not use posts to facilitate prohibited or unlawful plant sales or make unsupported guarantees about safety or income.
Reporting and moderation
Use Report on a post or comment to send a private report to the moderator. You can edit or delete your own contributions; the operator can review reports and hide content. Moderation is not continuous or guaranteed to be immediate. A dedicated contact, copyright-notice process, response standards, complete data-erasure process and moderation appeal route must still be finalized before wider launch.
